The IBA has gained greater visibility and exposure in the Greater Philadelphia region through the development and growth of our Corporate Partnership Program, especially over the last three years. Varied in fields and expertise, our Corporate Partners provide us with support, inspire us with ideas, and give business to our LGBTBE-member vendors.
Some ways we’ve grown our Corporate Partner Program include:
-Increasing our LGBTBE list by 50% to create more vendor opportunities for our Corporate Partners’ supplier diversity initiatives
-Focusing on relationship-building, including a customized business plan and Annual
-Corporate Report prepared for each Corporate Partner
-Acting as a hub for the community by connecting our Corporate Partners with nonprofit community partners and the local business community
-Creating multiple touch-points with our Corporate Partners so that they are involved in all aspects of our organization – including our Board, programming committees, community outreach efforts, and advocacy work
We are extremely grateful to have such active and invested Corporate Partners who are eager to sponsor events and programming, promote our organization and support the IBA and its mission. These relationships are a critical part of the sustainability and growth of the IBA. The reputation of our Corporate Partners has also been a draw for new members due to the ability to network with high-level executives and procurement specialists at our events. Our relationships with Corporate Partners have also helped us further the NGLCC’s efforts for business equality.
